I originally had my heart set on a local favourite, but the universe clearly had other plans (probably hungry ones), and it dropped me right here. Best. Detour. Ever. This place serves one of the best smashed burgers in Melbourne, no exaggeration. It’s top tier, simple, juicy, and straight-to-the-point delicious. No gimmicks, no fluff, just a burger that knows exactly who it is. The owner and staff? Absolute legends. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see you, even if you’re the type to overthink lettuce. Speaking of which, if I could change one tiny thing, it’d be swapping the shredded lettuce for a proper leaf. I like my lettuce like my deadlift; strong, consistent, and not falling apart mid-bite.

Late-night burger fix at Skullers! We went for two kinds of burgers — the beef had a great smoky, char-grilled flavour. The fried chicken wasn’t as crispy on the outside as I expected, but the meat inside was juicy and satisfying. Both came with a rich, creamy sauce that pulled all the flavours together beautifully. The sweet potato fries were golden, crunchy, and totally addictive. And the Raffaello shake? Sweet, nutty, and deliciously rich — the perfect way to end the meal. All in all, it’s a solid spot for a night burger fix. If you’re in South Morang and feeling hungry after dark, you might want to swing by.

The food here is sooooo good! I especially love the option for lighter burgers - perfect when you’re craving a great burger but not quite up for a hefty one. The service is also warm and friendly, welcoming smiles all around. Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back to try out more from their menu :)

I don't have a single bad thing to say about this place. If I could give more stars then I would! The man who served us (assume he's the owner) was fantastic. He was very accommodating, always had a smile on his face, and had great banter. My husband (John) ordered the food for us, gave his name for the order and then sat down. An hour later when we were leaving, the owner remembered my husband's name and was talking with him like the knew each other for a while. Fantastic customer service! Now onto the food, I got the clucker (I'm pregnant so I had a few modifications I needed to make) and he made those changes without even batting an eye. John got the double burbs burger and we also ordered cheese & gravy chips and a pistachio thick shake. These are probably the best burgers, chips and shake I've had in years! I can't fault the food at all. I will definitely be back and bringing everyone I know! Such a great experience. Will not disappoint!! Thank you!
